It always seems that nothing can go right when we have early morning rows. I arrived at the boatyard around 6:05 this morning, but between late arrivals and boat issues, we didn’t strike off the sand till about 7:00 a.m. This morning is not an exception–it’s happened several times.
Our boat had only one speaker, and up in the stern.
We’ve had people in and out on vacation.
We have cancelled rows due to tropical weather and regular Florida pop-up storms.
But finally, after a seat that wouldn’t roll, we got out on the water and fit in a pretty decent workout. My legs were on fire! It’s the first time in about three weeks I’ve felt like we fit in a good work.
And, even with one person unable to row and just sitting there like dead weight, we rowed a 21:47 in slack tide and crosswind.
